Really, Rough Edges is the book that started it all. Okay, it’s one of the books that started it all. But if it weren’t for Rough Edges and kINKED, Pen and Kink Publishing would only exist to publish my own work… and what kind of weird alternate universe would that be?
But here’s the thing. When my previous publisher told me I’d have to cancel Rough Edges I couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t do it. I love this anthology and I knew I was going to do whatever it took to make sure it got published even if that meant, essentially, creating a press to do it.
That is how much I adore this collection.
And this week is its release-aversary. Wow.
It’s tough to believe a whole year has gone by since we first introduced this book to the world — so much has changed. One thing that hasn’t changed though, is the love I have for this book.
